AGM REPORT
The Suffolk & Ipswich Football League have held their 2008 AGM.
With the supply of referees currently not matching demand it was reluctantly agreed to reduce the size of Divisions 2 to 6 from 14 to 13 teams and to move towards reducing the size of the Intermediate Divisions. As a result the league has not admitted any new teams for the coming season, despite having had several very strong applications.
Framlingham Town have been granted an extra promotion place from Division 1 to replace departing Champions Brantham Athletic while Bramford Road Old Boys have been promoted from Division 2 to replace Framlingham. The league wishes Brantham Athletic every success in their new ventures.
